The China Corporation carried out a tree planting event together with the Beijing TV program, ‘Beijing Nin Jao’, on the 19th of April.
About 200 people including the employees from the China Corporation, Ceragem center managers, and Beijing TV personnel participated in the event, which was held at the Beijing Milun-hyun Suwuwin Mining Center. Chief Accountant, Jang Do Geun stated in a TV interview that “2008 will be remembered not only as the year of the Beijing Olympics but it is also the 30th anniversary of tree planting day. Ceragem will continue to participate actively in such socially conscious events and we hope that this tree planting event will help to make the Beijing Olympics a more environmentally friendly one.”
