Our company received the INNO-BIZ license last month, certifying our technological competitiveness. The INNO-BIZ license is the corporate certification system that was adopted by the government in order to promote technologically innovative small and medium enterprises, and it is granted to companies that have reached a certain standard in terms of research and development, quality control, and intellectual property (it is also used as a criterion for comparing national competitiveness).
Attaining the license has reaffirmed the technological prowess of Ceragem—which is already exporting its products throughout the world—and we are anticipating more governmental support for technologically innovative small and medium enterprises (valid from 2008.04.29 ~ 2011.04.28).
The government is currently trying to promote innovative small and medium enterprises that have the potential to become blue-chip companies in the 21st century through a variety of supportive measures such as subsidies, management consulting, and global licenses (it is planning to increase the percentage of inno-biz companies from 3% to 10%).
