Korea : Ceragem Research Center Expansion Ceremony

Our company moved to a new premise in Chonan Seonggeo-eup Jongchon-lee and had an opening ceremony on 17th March. The new premise is nearby the HQ. This research center was originally located on two floors of the headquarter building but due to recent R&D funding and the company policy of creating more R&D resources, 2700 pyeong (10675 yards) of land and 290 pyeong (1146 yards) of building space were acquired where the foundation for research facilities were installed.

The staff and the executives including Chairman Hwan-Seong Lee and the president So-Hyun Rho, and the business partners attended this ceremony. The cutting of tape, photo shoot and the sacrificial rite were carried out to pray for success of the center.

“As CERAGEM R&D is now newly facilitated, we’ll do our best to develop new technology, enhance product competitiveness and in turn, raise our company’s global reputation” said the center head, Byung-Won Choi. Currently, the center has planning department, circuit design team, equipment design team and the design team, all working together to develop new products.
