We host a continental global seminar each year intended to provide a general understanding of Ceragem's business and a viable sales strategy targeted to employees and managers of overseas branches. The purpose of the Europe & CIS Global Seminar that took place from May 26 to May 29 was to promote correct sales strategy and training capacity of the Europe and CIS regions.
The seminar was held in Budapest, Hungary, a Europe Corporate, where 217 employees and managers from 7 branches in the CIS region attended and happily made the most out of the well-organized training schedule.
The first day of the seminar was officially kicked-off with a field trip to the 6 centers in Budapest, Hungary. The managers of each center gladly welcomed the visitors as head office employees and other attendees spent valuable time with visiting customers. People who visited the centers experienced actual training effects by taking part in center administration and lectures.
Following the opening ceremony in the afternoon, the global seminar for 3 days and 4 nights made its commencement. In his welcoming speech, the president acknowledged the hard work of GM Park Dong Yeol and his co-workers in the Hungary Branch and emphasized that "We must prepare for the changes that we will face in the future in order to develop into the world's leading healthcare partner under." A group photo was taken after the opening ceremony followed by Director Kim Jae Jin's speech on understanding the principles of the business and Germany and Hungary center manager's sharing of business cases to conclude the first day. The stick balloons, prepared by the Hungary branch, hyped up the atmosphere in the seminar and they let everyone know of the strong kick-off of the seminar.
On Day 2, which started with sharing business experiences of Hungary, Manager Lee Mu Soo lectured for 100 minutes under the topic "Ceragem's Strategy for Success: Ceragem and Happy Life" followed by Russian business experience sharing, a lecture by Russia Manager Song Jae Min on spines and Ceragem Master, and finally Turkey Manager Han In Shik's lecture on the importance of experience.
Lectures continued on Day 3 including efficient branch management by Hungary Manager Park Dong Ryul, Ukraine Manager Kwan Byung Ryul, and Ukraine Director Han In Shik. Manager Park Dong Ryul, in particular, walked to the podium passionately welcomed by center managers of Hungary and was well-applauded at the end of his courageous speech. For the last session, one speaker from each country came out and spent 5 minutes promoting his own center.
On the final day of the seminar, attendees were given personal time in the morning to relax from all the training and they took a sightseeing to the Budapest region. The participants had lunch on Gellert Hill from which the entire Budapest can be seen in a single view. Then they looked around Fisher's Bastion and St. Istvan Cathedral to enjoy the romantic and antique sentiment of Eastern Europe.
Then they returned to the hotel and attended the final farewell dinner. Director Kim Ki Deok, in his farewell speech, reflected what the global seminar represented and commemorated the efforts of all participants. After watching the Hungarian traditional show and a music band performance, they spent time socializing and then parted goodbye. The farewell dinner was the conclusion of all official events over the course of 4 days and 3 nights. Participants got themselves actively involved actively with in terms of center business knowhow and sales strategy.
