The China Branch spent time with neighbors to conclude the year. 50 employees from the branch visited ‘Ceragem Elementary School of Hope’ located in Miloun-hyun, Beijing, on December 28th to deliver baskets of toys and stationery including soccer balls and basketballs while spending time together for the end of the year event.

Head Accountant Jang Do Geun, Vice-Head Accountant Kim Jung Ro, Sales Vice-Head Accountant Kim Sang Shik, and other employees visited the home for the elders located in Sunoui-gu, Beijing on January 5th to donate a ‘Ceragem Master’ along with scarves and gloves in preparation for the cold winter. Head Accountant Jang Do Geun put scarves around the elders himself.

“The elderly are truly valuable to our society and therefore we must show our utmost respect. This donation is only the beginning as we will visit more often to actualize love and sharing,” said Vice-Head Accountant Kim Jung Ro.

The last official event as a part of the year end community service was to help 100 Beijing households in poverty on January 9th. Branch Manager Park Dong Jin, Head Accountant Jang Do Geun, and 20 other employees visited 100 households in poverty to offer them rice, flour, oil, and other basic needs. They visited each household themselves and shared words as some people wept in gratitude. The China Branch also hosted performances for the townspeople and brought along with them barbers free haircuts.

Meanwhile, Shinhwasa, Joyangshinmun, Joyang TV, and other media rushed to release Ceragem’s community services to press under the title ‘a company that realizes love’.
